The Official Helicopter Blue Book® is published by HeliValue$, Inc.   The first publication was in 1979.  The helicopter Blue Book combines 40 years of resale data and internal component pricing information.  The helicopter Blue Book is a unique book, it is not like the Kelly blue book, green book, red book or black book.  The Official Helicopter Blue Book® is not simply a database of resale transactions, it is a product that provides our customers with various tools to make informed decisions.   Information on helicopter specifications, current and historical resale values, current and historical manufacturer pricing, component overhaul and retirement intervales, and hourly maintenance costs are available for most of the over 200 models covered in the Blue Book.  Our interactive Blue Book includes the model comparison tool that allows side by side comparison of data for up to three helicopter models.

HeliValue$ is the only full-time helicopter  and helicopter inventory appraisal firm and perform over 2,500 helicopter appraisals annually.  We have accredited ASA appraisers that follow the USPAP guidelines.

The Resale pricing in The Official Helicopter Blue Book® is based on actual sales transactions and current market conditions such as overall trends in helicopter asking prices, increase or decrease in helicopter supply, demand, and sales volume. We obtain helicopter sales pricing data from owners and operators, lenders and lessors, brokers and equipment manufacturers worldwide.

The Default values represent the manufacture's standard aircraft and options before customer customization.

Included on the helicopter pricing page in The Official Helicopter Blue Book® is the helicopter's manufacturer's historical price listed by Sikorsky UH-60L (Restricted Category) year, Sikorsky UH-60L (Restricted Category) serial numbers and Sikorsky UH-60L (Restricted Category) base pricing.    The Blue Book Resale Values are listed by the Weighted Average Component Life at 100% Used, 80% Used, 60% Used, 50% Used, 40% Used, 20% Used and 0% Used.  This resale pricing page is interactive and can highlight Sikorsky UH-60L (Restricted Category) by engine type, baseline configuration, year of manufacture, component usage and if the helicopter is enrolled in a Hourly Maintenance Program for tip to tail, engine only, gear box only or both engine/gearbox.

The Resale Trends is a graph illustrating historical resales values, based on the Sikorsky UH-60L (Restricted Category) components' weighted average life. Each line on the historical chart represents the weighted used average by these percentages; 0%, 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80% and 100%.

The specific year is selected to show the trend of the resale market for the duration selected. Trends are specific to the helicopter manufacturers model year and only displayed as baseline configuration. They do not account for helicopter conversion or configurations.
